There are some guitar players who you can instantly recognize from then first note they play, and David Gilmour may be at the top of that legendary list. While this solo doesn't have many notes, it's very easy to play incorrectly. When students ask me what I do to practice bending, this is the solo I have them learn, as it is a clinic in perfect technique, and it's damn fun to play. What could be better than that?
