I recently went to the madness that is the NAMM Show, an annual gathering of all the freaks in the music industry and beyond to talk about, play with, look at, sell, buy, and report on music gear. Traditionally, I steer clear of the classic “Here’s all the new stuff from NAMM” style videos, partly because other people do it a lot better than I do, partly because it’s nearly impossible to get actual high-quality, hands-on demonstration time with the gear, and partly because I like to make… *different* content at the show. This year, though, I had some special access to certain booths that I think will be enlightening for any of you on the market for certain items, such as recording hardware/software, guitars, and pedals.
