I like to teach music theory, tips, tricks, licks, and other helpful things I've learned in my experience playing guitar over the years. One thing I try to mention every now and then is that you don't really need a teacher to show you what to do. If something sounds good to you, no matter how you created it, it is good. You don't need validation of why it "works"; you just need the approval of your own ears.
