Buying a Guitar Without Playing It

If you've ever shopped online for a guitar, you know how fun it can be to browse through the seemingly endless listings to try and find the best guitar for the best deal. This is my Mercari app review where I'll use the online marketplace at Mercari to try and find a guitar that not only looks cool, but fills a void in my guitar collection. When it comes down to it, guitars are tools to do a job, and what better way to find a new tool than by browsing the biggest tool shop in the world–the internet!

The first thing I decided on was that I wouldn't look for any guitars I already owned or that I considered to do the same thing as one in my collection. After that, I decided on a price range to stick to, and then it was off to the races! I was immediately bombarded with hundreds of search results to sift through.

I found it was best to "heart" certain listings to set up a list of contending guitars that I would then choose from after my search was through. I ended up with some pretty sweet instruments, and had to eliminate some options that other people would probably jump at the chance to buy. In the end, though, I think I made the right choice! :D

If you're in the market for a new guitar, I'd definitely recommend using the Mercari app to see what there is to be found. The marketplace was full of great gear, and I received the guitar I bought faster than any guitar I've ever ordered online, which was pretty awesome. I'll certainly be checking Mercari the next time I want to buy or sell anything, guitars, amps, pedals or otherwise, and I hope you will too!
